I’m Adam—a Midwesterner born and raised near Dayton, Ohio. I studied at Miami University and graduated in 2013 with my BFA in graphic design. After college, I landed a design internship with Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and moved to Orlando, Florida, where I worked for a year on communications teams at the Magic Kingdom and Team Disney corporate office.
After Disney, I went to work for Tavistock Group—an international private investment organization headquartered in The Bahamas. As a design associate, I provided design, marketing and communication solutions for a variety of clients in the Tavistock portfolio. I also worked as one of the lead designers for the 2015 PGA Tour Hero World Challenge for its inaugural year at Albany, Bahamas.
In 2016, I decided to move back to Ohio and started working at The Ohio State University, where I was a graphic designer for the Office of Administration and Planning and later the Department of Athletics.
In 2020, I shifted my focus to UX/UI design and enrolled in Thinkful—an online bootcamp. After Thinkful, I started working at KeyBank in Cleveland, Ohio, as a UX/UI design contractor. Currently, I’m a UX designer at WEX, working on financial software and design systems. I also take on occasional freelance projects and mentor design students at Springboard.
Outside of work, I enjoy hanging with family and friends, camping, rock climbing, trying new bars and restaurants, listening to business and comedy podcasts, making monthly playlists on Spotify and cooking Japanese food.
