Adam Cassidy

Senior Product Designer currently working on B2B payment products at WEX. Based in Columbus, Ohio.

I am a Senior Product Designer with 10+ years of experience focused on craft, usability, and simplifying the complex. I bring a strategic, product-driven mindset to every project, balancing user needs with business objectives.

My approach is rooted in an appreciation for quality and clarity. I take pride in the “invisible” work: understanding the “why,” architecting a product’s foundation, and designing the intuitive systems and documentation that make an experience feel functional, polished, and a joy to use.

Over the past decade, my experience has spanned from communications at The Walt Disney Company and Tavistock Group to the high-energy environment of The Ohio State University Department of Athletics. My pivot into UX/UI design at KeyBank and WEX was driven by a desire to build actual products. Today, I navigate the complexities of banking and payments, serving as both a lead for design execution and a strategic partner in shaping product direction.

This obsession with technical detail also extends to the physical world, where I freelance as a Production Designer for theory11. Working on premium playing cards and puzzles for brands and studios such as Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Warner Bros., HBO, and Paramount, I manage high-specification file prep for mass production. Whether I’m configuring complex foil and emboss layers for luxury packaging or architecting design systems for fintech, I focus on the technical precision and “craft” of the final product.

Born and raised in the Midwest, I bring a pragmatic, collaborative energy to teams. When I’m not in Figma or Cursor, I’m usually tackling projects on our 100-year-old craftsman home, traveling, rock climbing, or learning a new recipe. I find that my best work is fueled by inspiration in everyday life, both on and off the screen.
